We've been waiting patiently for the arrival of Sneaks' third album Highway Hypnosis. With recent singles 'Beliefs' and 'Hong Kong to Amsterdam' marking an exciting new electronic direction for Sneaks, new single 'Ecstasy' continues the pattern with a simple squelchy bass line, sharp electro beats and Sneaks' cooly-delivered surrealist vocals. True to form, the track is a concise 2 minutes 24, consisting of what feels like 2 distinctly different sections. Changing vibe with an airy, ascending vocal line around the 1 minute 30 mark, Sneaks embarks on an empowering self-mantra reciting the words "Long live Sneaks" over a bouncing synth line and a danceable beat until the track comes to a close.
